Our 1995 Ford Fairmond station wagon was destroyed and we are urgently looking for a replacement van. Our station wagon was insured for $5,000. Unfortunately the extra row of seats we installed for $1,500 was not insured. The insurance company charged us the excess and premium and we ended up with $3,762. The cost of a 4 door Tarago van starts from around $16,000. We have received a few donations that will go towards the replacement vehicle and have managed to save some money to go towards it, but it's not enough yet. We urgently need extra funds for this vehicle.

Her first consultation with AIAHP will be over three days that will involve observation, assessment and therapy training; they will teach us how to help Alekksis with daily therapy that is tailored to her specific needs. The cost of this consultancy includes travelling and accomodation expenses ($680) for the therapists.

Thanks to the many donations made (including an anonymous donation of $80), a fundraiser by Dora Creek Church and a generous donation from a close friend, we were able to raise the funds to pay off the balance of $3,180.

We are signing up Alekksis with the Australian Institute for the Achievement of Human Potential (AIAHP). An initial deposit of AUD$500 is required; it goes towards the first 3 day consultation which costs AUD$3,600. Recurring consultations (approximately every 6 months) will be AUD$1,500.
